 There
are 2 different types of newsletter templates you can use HTML or
text. HTML looks very professional and gives “class” to your
newsletter. However a few email clients do not support HTML and
these readers will not receive your newsletter in legible form. This
can be solved by building a web page for your newsletter and sending
your subscribers a link. On the other hand I have found that many of
my readers preferred to have the newsletter delivered directly to
their email box, rather than receiving a link to click on. You might
find that your newsletter may not be read by some of your
subscribers if you use only HTML newsletter templates. Alternatively you may want to use text layouts. Although your newsletter will look less colorful, all your subscribers will be able to read it. They will also be able to print it, if they want to keep it for later reading. Many of them will like the convenience of being able to read or print your newsletter without having to click elsewhere.
You can get layouts for your publication in several places including EBay. They will usually be simple ones that you can adapt to your newsletter. Or you can look up the keyword on Google. Here is a resource I have found very useful for making professional newsletter templates
